bconnected allows citizens and city employees to automatically and immediately contact a responsible department with a service request (i.e.Tax Bill Dispute or Recycle Bin Request) or complaint. When the issue is resolved the citizen may automatically be contacted by email or phone with a status update. bconnected also offers a knowledge database function to citizens. This database offers general information about city services without requiring a citizen to submit a service request. To access the knowledge database please click the above link by the same name. Since the adoption of the program on 9/29/09 by the City of Bridgeport thousands of service requests have been entered by city employees. They have since been resolved in a professional and timely manner.
