CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING AGENDAS AND MINUTES 

WHEN:           Second Tuesday of every month, at 2:00 pm

 Powers and Duties of the Civil Service Commission

1. The members of the Civil Service Commission shall hold regular meetings at least once each month and may hold additional meetings as may be required in the proper discharge of their duties. 
2. After public hearings, adopt and amend rules and regulations which then must have majority vote of City Council and Mayor’s approval.
3. Make investigation.
4. Hear and determine complaints or appeals on the administrative work of the Personnel Department or an examinations or admission to exams or appointment from lists.
