DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION SENIOR TRANSPORTATION GRANT NEWS UPDATE

We at the Department of Parks and Recreation are please to offer all Bridgeport Seniors Transportation.

The past Bridgeport Seniors were instructed to contact Rich and/or Bill to schedule their pick-up and drop off times as well as their destinations.

Beginning on April 11, 2011 our Senior Transportation Program will be transitioning and new procedures will be in place.

As of April 11th, 2011 the new call procedures will be as follows:

• Each Bridgeport Senior must fill out the Transportation Signup Sheet. This signup sheet will be available at the Eisenhower Center, Bethany Center, and the Black Rock Center.

• 24 hour notice must be provided to the transportation dispatcher, Mr. Michael Paoletti. Mr. Paoletti can be reached at (203) 372-0790 Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

• In the event that your scheduled transportation is unnecessary on the DAY it is scheduled and you do not need to be picked up, please call Rich Evans at (203) 650-1057. Please be courteous and be prompt with calling, for other seniors can fill the pickup slot.
