Mission Statement
Every Bridgeport resident has easy access to, skills to prepare, and desire to consume healthy, mostly local foods. Bridgeport food access is driven by Bridgeport residents and opportunities for livable wage job creation.
The Food Policy Council meets on the third Wednesday of every

FPC Advisory Groups
The Food Policy Council currently has four Advisory Groups focused on improving food access in the City of Bridgeport. These groups are:
Urban Agriculture- Chaired by Cristina Sandolo, Executive Director of Green Village Initiative
Food-Based Economic Development- This Chair position has recently opened, please direct questions/comments to Juniper at juniper@bptgennow.com
School Wellness Policy- Chaired by Raquel Rivera-Pablo, Owner / Chef Instructor, A Pinch of Salt, LLC, and Co-Chaired by Gina Smith, Community Health Improvement Coordinator, Yale New Haven Health System
Community Outreach- This Chair position has recently opened, please direct questions/comments to Jessi McNeill at jessi@bptgennow.com
