Economic & Business Development
The Economic Development group is responsible for encouraging the growth of the commercial, industrial and retail base of the City.
The unit oversees development projects on City-owned property, real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial/industrial site selection, transportation-related issues, development of contaminated (“brownfield”) sites and maintains close connections with the state and federal economic development, transportation and environmental agencies.
Our team can help entrepreneurs and developers navigate through a host of local issues and provide in-depth insight into the Bridgeport business scene.
