The mission of the Tax Collector is to collect all tax revenue due to the City in accordance with Connecticut State Statutes and to provide the taxpayers of the City with information and assistance in a prompt and courteous manner. This office is responsible for the billing and collection of all Real Estate, Personal Property, Motor Vehicle Taxes and related penalty charges. Check the department calendar on the left navigation for important dates in the tax collection cycle as well as Frequently Asked Questions.

The Tax Collector's Office is located in Room 121 of City Hall, 45 Lyon Terrace.  Anne Kelly-Lenz is the Tax Collector, assisted by Veronica Jones, Acting Deputy Tax Collector.

We are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM-4 PM.  For additional hours during tax season, please consult our department calendar.

 If you recieve a tax bill in your name, please do not ignore it.
