Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo 

Nestled in a 36-acre park-like setting is Connecticut's only accredited zoo. The Beardsley zoo features an Indoor rain forest exhibit, a greenhouse, picnic grove, the Peacock Cafe and gift shop, as well as, the former Pleasure Beach carousel. The carousel is now open year-round.  As an accredited member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association and participant in its Species Survival Plan, they are committed to the preservation of endangered animals.
