The City of Bridgeport is currently updating the 2008 Master Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD).
Draft Plan Available for Public Review, Comment
A draft of Plan Bridgeport, the decennial update to the POCD, is now available for public review. The February 2019 Draft of Plan Bridgeport can be downloaded here: Draft Plan 02/19
The Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) will hold public hearings on
both March 25, 2019 and April 22, 2019. All members of the public are
welcome to share comments about Plan Bridgeport at these public
hearings. For more information, please visit the Planning and Zoning Commission website.

As of February 15, 2019, Plan Bridgeport has been submitted to the City Clerk to be delivered to the City Council, and the Zoning Department to be delivered to the Planning and Zoning Commission. City Council members and Planning and Zoning Commissioners will receive the Plan and begin their reviews in the coming weeks.
*All interested parties will have the opportunity to speak on the record about Plan Bridgeport at public hearings.
A Master Plan of Conservation and Development was prepared and approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission at their regular meeting on January 28, 2008.
The final plan became effective on March 17, 2008, and copies are available to members of the public at the Zoning Office, Room 210, 45 Lyon Terrace. The plan is available in electronic form below.
