Bridgeport is currently updating the 2008 Master Plan of Conservation and Development with the goal of completing the document before the end of 2018.
The City is seeking as much community feedback as possible as we work with consultants Fitzgerald and Halliday to create a plan that is accessible to everyone, that speaks to the most important issues for Bridgeport's residents and that lays out an inclusive and comprehensive vision for how Bridgeport should change over the next decade.
An interactive website with additional information, surveys, records of past meetings, a schedule of upcoming events and other opportunities to provide your opinions, ideas and comments can be found here: www.planbridgeport.com.
A Master Plan of Conservation and Development was prepared and approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission at their regular meeting on January 28, 2008.
The final plan became effective on March 17, 2008, and copies are available to members of the public at the Zoning Office, Room 210, 45 Lyon Terrace. The plan is available in electronic form below.
