The mission of the Tax Collector is to collect all tax revenue due to the City in accordance with Connecticut State Statutes and to provide the taxpayers of the City with information and assistance in a prompt and courteous manner. This office is responsible for the billing and collection of all Real Estate, Personal Property, Motor Vehicle Taxes and related penalty charges. The Tax Collector's Office is located in Room 121 of City Hall, 45 Lyon Terrace. Veronica Jones is the Acting Deputy Tax Collector.
We are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 4 PM.

· 8:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday February 1, 2014
CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS ARE NOW ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AND ON-LINE ALSO STARTING JULY 1ST, 2010.
