Adam Wood has served as a legislative aide, Political and Finance Director for the State Democratic Party, and campaign manager for a number of candidates, including State Treasurer Denise Nappier and Diane Farrell. He has had an extensive career in public relations, most notably for clients such as the American Trial Lawyers Association and Farmington-based health plan ConnectiCare. He serves on the board of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and Family Services Woodfield.

As Chief of Staff, Mr. Wood is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations in the Mayor's office.
