- Board consists of the director of finance and four members directly appointed by the Mayor
- Each December, Mayor appoints two persons to serve two-year terms. Members serve until a successor is appointed and has qualified.
- Advises the city concerning the affairs of the office of public purchases, approved city’s annual purchasing policy statement, approves all procedural rules and regulations, and hears appeals from the decisions of the purchasing agent as may be authorized by law.
- Meets the second Wednesday of the Month at 4:15pm, Purchasing Department Conference Room, 999 Broad Street, Bridgeport CT 06604, Second Floor.
