Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19), the main office of
the Lighthouse Program & Youth Services will remain closed to the public with minimal exceptions. Fillable applications are available on this site and all services this department provides will continue via email or through phone calls. In person Lighthouse programming at all 24 schools is currently available as is parent choice for virtual activities. For immediate assistance, please call (203) 576-7252.

Late pick-up option available at 6:00 pm for an additional fee.
Children registered for this subsidized program are expected to stay until 5:15 pm each day.
Open most half days for an additional fee.
The cost for the Lighthouse Afterschool Program is based on a sliding scale (please refer to additional sliding scale link) and is between $5 -$20 per child per week depending on household income. Please note the low cost is due to the program receiving substantial grant funds.

Please note: when registering your child at any of the selected school sites, a money order for a non-refundable deposit of $25 is required. Additionally, as proof of household income, you will need a copy of 1040 income tax form for the prior year or two consecutive pay stubs for each working household member, social security status, or a letter showing unemployment or disability income. If you cannot provide any of these documents the maximum weekly fee will apply. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We will do our best to keep parent fees to a minimum and no child will be turned away based on a parents ability to pay.
We do ask for all parents to work with us as parent fees are extremely reasonable and an integral part of overall program operation.
