Fees for services

Fee for Affidavits produced by the Office of Vital Statistics:

The office of Vital Statistics shall charge an established fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the preparation and notarization of each affidavit it produces at the request of the public. Ordinance 2.110.150

All fees are payable on site with cash, money order made payable to Bridgeport Vital Records or credit/debit cards. We accept Discover, Visa and Mastercard only. There is an additional fee of $2 payable to the service company at the time of the credit card charge. We do not accept personal checks.

Fee for Genealogical Searches Performed by Office of Vital Statistics:

The office of Vital Statistics shall charge an established fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) for any search, including a certified copy thereof, if one is found, that it conducts upon request of the public. If no record is found the fee will be refunded.

• Adult Adoptive Birth Certificate: $65
  
• Birth Certificate Fee: $20/$15
  
• Marriage Certificate Fee: $20
  
• Death Certificate Fee: $20
  
• Marriage License Fee: $50
• Municipal ID Fee: $15
  
• Notary Public Services - $5 per notarized signature
