A non-profit that provides cross-disability services to individuals. Access Independence strives to improve quality of life through advocacy, education, and empowerment.

Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS)

A division of the Department of Aging and Disability Services, which works to support those with physical and/or mental disabilities. BRS is dedicated to providing the opportunity to gain employment by offering guidance and assistance in job preparation, finding, and keeping or advancing in a job. 

DaVita Kidney Care

Provides treatment and education throughout the country for people with Kidney disease.

Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS)

Promotes and administers comprehensive, recovery-oriented services in the areas of mental health treatment and substance abuse prevention and treatment throughout Connecticut. DMHAS also provides collaborative programs for individuals with special needs, such as persons with HIV/AIDS infection, people in the criminal justice system, and more. 

Hartford HealthCare Special Needs Services

Provider of education and therapeutic programs for children and adults with multiple developmental disabilities and special health care needs.

Mental Health Connecticut 

Provides residential services such as including scattered-site supported housing, transitional housing, and supervised apartments, for people with mental health conditions throughout Bridgeport as well as mental health waiver programs and mental health concierge throughout Connecticut.     

Southwestern CT Agency on Aging (SWCAA)

Committed to helping the community maintain a quality lifestyle. SWCAA offers support, advocacy, and guidance to empower you or your loved one to stay and participate in the community, no matter the age. 

The Child & Family Guidance Center

Offers a wide range of mental health and substance abuse counseling for children under the age of 18 and support services to their families.
