Welcome to the Fair Rent Commission!

We are a municipal board dedicated to ensuring fair rental practices within our community. We work to protect tenants from excessive and unreasonable rent increases.

• How we help: We investigate tenant complaints regarding excessive rent charges and hold hearings to determine fair rent levels.
• When we meet: The Commission meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM.

Please note that meeting schedules may occasionally change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances.

The Bridgeport Fair Rent Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. The meeting will be in-person at 999 Broad Street, Bridgeport, CT 06604, on the 1^st floor.
