Bridgeport, CT – In observance of Independence Day, City of Bridgeport officials announce the holiday weekend schedule for Pleasure Beach, Seaside Park, and Beardsley Park. 

Pleasure Beach is open Monday-Sunday from 10am – 6pm and throughout the holiday weekend. Water taxis will run from 10 am – 6pm and will board up to 23 passengers every 20 minutes. Face masks or coverings must be worn and passengers must remain seated while traveling by water taxi.  Restrooms will be open and available at the Pleasure Beach Pavilion. Concessions will not be available throughout the summer; visitors are encouraged to pack a lunch, drinks, and snacks for extended stays. Each day, one lifeguard will be stationed at the designated swim area on the beach and two members of the Audubon Society will be located at the Information Depot to provide details about the Wildlife Preserve & the Endangered Species Nesting Areas every Saturday and Sunday.



Seaside Park gates will be open and welcoming visitors with the following schedule: 

• Friday, July 2 at 8am-8pm

• Saturday, July 3 at 7am-8pm

• Sunday, July 4 at 6am-8pm

• Monday, July 5 at 7am-8pm 

• Tuesday, July 6 at 8am-8pm 



West Beach & Casino Bathhouse showers will be open during the holiday weekend and throughout the summer.

Beardsley Park hours will not be effected by the holiday weekend; gates will open at 8am and close at 8pm each day.
