| July 21, 2026 | Absentee Ballots. Printed absentee ballots for the primary become available to electors on this day. |
| July 24, 2026 | Notice of 18th Day Before Party Enrollment Session. If a state, district and municipal primary will be held and your towns population is over 25,000 a mandatory registration session must be held for two consecutive hours between 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.. |
| July 24, 2026 | Registration and Enrollment Cut-off (Mail in) Primary Deadline for registering and / or enrolling for voting in a primary, unless the individual registers in person with the municipal clerk or the registrar .(Sec. 9-23g(d)(2)) Mail in application for new voters must be received by the registrar of voters of the town of resident by this day except that a mail in application of a new voter postmarked by this day, or an application that is received by the DMV or VRA by this day may be received by the registrar of voters until 12:00 noon on August 10, 2026.(Sec. 9-23g(c)(iv) and (d))) An application for the party enrollment by an unaffiliated voter must be received by this day, unless the unaffiliated voter files an application for enrollment in person with the registrars of voters by 12:00 noon on August 10, 2026. | July 28, 2026 | Primary Enrollment Session . If a primary is to be held mandatory enrollment session must be held on this date 14th day before primary for registration and / or enrollment of electors entitled to vote in the state, district, and municipal primary. At least two consecutive hours between the hours of 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m. (9-51) |
| July 24, 2026 | Registration by Mail -. Deadline for Registrar to receive a mail-in application, postmarked by July 24, 2026 (the eighteenth day before the primary), so the application may be enrolled in time to vote in the primary.(9-23a, 9-23g (c) and (d)) |
