The City has launched an effort to create a Complete Streets Design Guide. For updates, information, and to provide feedback, click here to view the project website.
Complete Streets is a transportation policy and design approach that aims to make streets safer, more convenient, comfortable, and accessible for people of all ages and abilities, regardless of how they are traveling (i.e., foot, wheelchair, bicycle, scooter, vehicle, or bus). Complete Streets make it safer to cross a street, walk to stores, and bike to work. Complete Streets help buses to run on time and encourage safe driving behavior at intersections. These improvements will create a more connected city.
We are looking for input from community members on where they travel using different modes, where safety issues exist, and where they would like to see modes of transportation prioritized. To give input, click here visit the Street Mapper.
