| MARCH 12, 2024 | ABSENTEE BALLOTS Absentee ballots for presidential preference primary become available on this day. (9-135 and 9-140 (f)) |
| MARCH 15, 2024 | VOTER REGISTRATION BY MAIL DEADLINE Hand delivered mail in registration applications must be received by this day by Registrars (or by Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) or a voter registration agency) and mailed mail in registration applications must be post marked by this date, for the applicant to be entitled to vote in this PRIMARY. |
| MARCH 25, 2024 12:00 noon | UNAFFILIATED VOTERS WHO SEEK TO VOTE EARLY -PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY Deadline for unaffiliated voters who seek to vote during the early voting period before the presidential preference primary to file an enrollment application with the registrar of voters. |
| MARCH 26, 27, 28, 30, 2024 | EARLY VOTING - PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY-.early voting will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on these days. |
| MARCH 26, 27, 28, 30, 2024 | NEW VOTERS WHO SEEK TO VOTE EARLY- Individuals who are not registered but want to vote during the early voting period before the Presidential Preference Primary may do so if they file their voter registration application (for a party holding a primary) with the registrars by NOON on the business day before the day they want to vote during such period. |
| MARCH 26, 2024 | ABSENTEE BALLOT CHECKOFF Registrars of Voters, in conjunction with the Town Clerk perform the absentee ballot checkoff on polling place checker logs in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 9-140(c). |
| APRIL 1, 2024 | IN PERSON VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE. In person voter registration cut-off. Last voter registration session for the Presidential Preference Primary. Applicants must in appear in person by noon. |
