Effective December 1, 2017 and as outlined in Bridgeport City Ordinance 2.02.080, the Town Clerks Office will maintain records of the residence for all municipal elected officers, as well as board and commission members (mayoral-appointed or otherwise) in the City of Bridgeport.
The residency reporting is required by January 31st of each year of service and reporting of changes of residency during service is required within 30 days of the change.
