City officials announced today that the Department of Public Facilities will begin milling and road paving throughout the City of Bridgeport on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, in the East End and will work their way through various neighborhoods, finishing in Black Rock.
During this time, drivers are advised of the following:

Public Facilities provides residents and taxpayers of the city with the following services: trash and recycling pickup, street cleaning, roadway related maintenance, lines and signs division, snow plowing, sanding and salting, leaf pickup, and cleaning and maintenance of City buildings.
Public Notice: Early Saturday morning (Aug 27th) a motor vehicle accident caused damage to the Gustave Whitehead Memorial Fountain located at the intersection of Fairfield Ave & State St. Public Facilities has cleaned the location and is working to repair the damage. We ask residents to be patient during this time.
