NOTICE:
Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and the change in city regulations, fingerprinting has been suspended until further notice. If you have already called and have scheduled an appointment, your current position on the appointment list will be maintained. When fingerprinting resumes you will be rescheduled based on your position on the list. Currently, individuals on the list are scheduled through December 2nd. If you are not currently on the list and would like to schedule an appointment, you will not be able to until fingerprinting resumes. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Fingerprint Appointments
Tuesdays and Thursdays (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM), every 30 minutes

Effective immediately, the following COVID-19 pandemic safety protocols will be adhered to during the fingerprinting process.
1. Upon arrival to your scheduled fingerprinting appointment you must submit to a temperature scan. Individuals with elevated body temperatures will be asked to reschedule their appointment. Anyone who refuses to be scanned will not be admitted inside of the building.
2. A mask will be worn at all times by the individual who is being fingerprinted.
3. You will be escorted to a bathroom where you will wash your hands before being fingerprinted.
4. Only the individual being fingerprinted will be allowed into the building. Exceptions will be permitted for translators and minors with parents with childcare issues.

Fees vary depending on type of permit. Please pick up Permit Application package at Front Desk of Police Department, 300 Congress Street.

Special Events
Special Event permits are available for special events such as parades, block parties, demonstrations, and park events. Block Party Permit Fee is $50.
