The Commission for People with Disabilities meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. Meetings are conducted on Zoom until further notice. Meeting schedules may change due to holidays or other schedule conflicts. Please note: the commission does not meet during the months of July and August.

About the Commission
As the commission for people with disabilities, we're passionate about improving our community. Our mission is to request information from various agencies to understand the needs of those with disabilities and advise the mayor and director of health and social services on ways to improve the City and be more inclusive. We're dedicated to promoting access to essential services like housing, employment, transportation, economics, health, and recreation. We'll make recommendations to city administrators, commissions, boards, and departments, and forward them to the department of health and social services. We're committed to reviewing the city's proposed budget and resource allocations to ensure everyone gets the help they need. Let's work together to create a more inclusive and accessible community.
The board consists of twelve members appointed directly by the mayor for a term of three years. Members will serve until a qualified successor is appointed.
