Notice 06/26/26: We will hold 2 registration dates prior to the East Side Farmers Market opening day to help lessen the lines. Please be advised, due to low card inventory, we encourage you to bring a smartphone with email access if you do not have your card from last year.

SFMNP provides benefits to participants that are 60 years of age or older OR is a disabled individuals under the age of 60 living in housing facilities occupied primarily by older individuals where congregate nutrition services are provided. Individuals must have a household income of no more than 185% of the annual poverty income guidelines. If you have your card from last year, please bring it with you at the time of registration. Keep your card from year to year to ensure you can use your benefits.

The East Side Farmers Market was launched by the Bridgeport Health Department to increase access to healthy foods in the East Side. For more than 13 years, this market has provided fresh fruits and vegetables to Bridgeport and East Side residents. Every Wednesday during the summer, residents can come to the market to shop for fresh local produce. 

Join us at Washington Park, on the Noble Ave side. 

Senior FMNP voucher cards are distributed at this location starting at the end of July/early August. Please bring a driver’s license/identification card and income statement. The market is open to all and also accepts cash and card as form of payment. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions.
