Councilmember Alfredo Castillo was born and raised in Bridgeport and is the son of immigrants who came to the US from El Salvador and Guatemala. Castillo is a retired maintenance worker from Park City Communities. He is passionate about homeownership investment, sustainability and green energy, and economic growth in the city. Castillo occasionally volunteers at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club and is a member of the New Life Church in Trumbull, CT.
